The organizers of the annual Bra-ha-ha fundraiser added a new way to honor people who fought or are currently fighting breast cancer.
This weekend they held their inaugural Bra-ha-ha 5k Run/Walk and it was a great success.
The event was presented by the Chesapeake Regional Health Foundation.
Nearly 300 people registered for the race and every finisher received a t-shirt and a flower.
The money raised will be used to help provide breast health screenings to uninsured and underinsured patients and will help fund advanced breast health technology at Chesapeake Regional Healthcare.
And mark your calendars for the 10th annual Bra-ha-ha will be here soon. Bra registration has been extended to Wednesday, September 20, and the event will be held at MacArthur Center in Norfolk on Sunday, October 1 from 7-9 p.m.
