All Eyes on the A-PEEL-ing North Carolina Potato Festival

Northeast North Carolina’s largest festival will return again to Elizabeth City on Friday, May 15,  bigger and better than ever.  Bring the whole family and come and stay all THREE DAYS! Food, arts and crafts, contests, live entertainment plus a Midway full of games and large amusement rides are all part of the fun.

In addition to celebrating the great potato, the United States Coast Guard will be honored as the mascot in celebration of the 75th Anniversary of the Elizabeth City Coast Guard Base.  You will see a lot of the Coast Guard on display at the festival this year, including a 7.5K USCG Fun Run/Walk at 8:00 a.m. Then go by and take a tour of the USCG Kennebec docked at Waterfront Park, head down Coast Guard Row and talk with a Rescue Swimmer, and buy a 75th Anniversary USCG T Shirt.
