Busch Gardens Offering New, Early-Access Member Plans


Beginning today, Busch Gardens® Williamsburg and Water Country USA® are launching new Membership Plans with added benefits and more diverse options for members.

The new Membership Plans are “more than a pass,” Dan Dipiazzo, vice president of marketing at Busch Gardens and Water Country USA, said in a news release. The plans will include admission to both the Busch Gardens and Water Country parks- with the added benefit of access to Christmas Town™. The plans also include the added benefits of guest passes, discounts on in-park purchases, and, of course, parking.

The parks will be offering three levels of Membership Plans, will special introductory rates available through March 31.

The Basic Membership Plan features park admission, half-price on general parking, discounts on guest tickets and in-park purchases, as well as others “special offers [and] exclusive events” offered the parks.” The price is $10 a month, and will rise to $12 a month at the end of the introductory period.

The Unlimited Membership Plan features unlimited visits to both parks , free general parking, two free guest tickets per year, plus discounts on additional guest tickets and other benefits. The price is $15 a month, and will rise to $17 a month at the end of the introductory period.

The Premier Membership Plan adds more by offering free preferred parking, three free guest tickets per year, discounts on additional tickets, and “unlimited visits to Busch Gardens, Water Country USA and nine other world-class theme and water parks in the SeaWorld family.”  The price is $20 a month, and will rise to $22 a month at the end of the introductory period.

As an added benefit to those joining the Membership Program by March 17, Busch Gardens is offering a special St. Patrick’s Day celebration and first Member Sneak Peak, with two featured concerts, Irish-themed food and drinks, and exclusive access to enjoy park attractions before it opens to the public. Busch Gardens says it will also offer “special surprises” at the event to those joining by the March 17 date.

Members can join the program during pre-season activation days by visiting the Busch Gardens ticket window from March 1-2 or March 8-11,  10 a.m. to 7 p.m., or during normal operating hours once the park opens March 24, or get early access by visiting buschgardens.com/joinBGW.
