The Chesapeake Sheriff’s Office pulled off a spectacular feat for the eleventh year in a row, proving that strength in numbers is an understatement.
This 25-man team pulled a 186,00-pound FedEx airbus 12 feet in 5.1 seconds, overpowering 80 other teams. These men and women put their strength into one of largest Special Olympics Virginia fundraising events of the year. This program is the world’s largest health care provider to athletes with intellectual disabilities.
Together they raised $375,000 for Special Olympics Virginia. All proceeds help Special Olympics Virginia provide year-round athletic training and health care to more than 11,000 athletes of all ages.
