We expect Norfolk’s fine art museum to win awards for their amazing works of art, but next week they’ll receive an award for wildfire prevention and education!
The Chrysler Museum of Art will receive the 2015 Browning Award from the U.S. Forest Service on Tuesday, December 1. The Chrysler was chosen for the award because of its highly successful exhibition of Smokey Bear art that was on display from August 2014 through February 2015.
Congratulations, Chrysler Museum! Thanks for another reason to be proud to live in Hampton Roads.
