Fantail Film Fest Not Just for Kids

One thing we have no shortage of in Hampton Roads is outdoor movies, and why not? They’re inexpensive or free to put on, cheap to attend, and everyone has a great time picnicking and letting their kids burn off some energy before bedtime.

But most parents have seen kids movies to the point of exhaustion. Do you sing “Let it Go” in your sleep? Have you seriously considered whether your kids’ Legos speak to you? If you’re starting to go a little kid-movie mad, Nauticus may have a solution with their Fantail Film Festival on the Battleship Wisconsin.

Tickets are $3, concessions are available, BYO blanket or low chair!

Here are the movies you can check out on the Wisconsin:

June 27/Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl/8:30 p.m.

July 11/Top Gun/8:30 p.m.

July 25/To Kill a Mockingbird/8:15 p.m.

And just in case you haven’t already seen it (or it’s your child’s favorite…)

August 8/Frozen/8 p.m.
