Girl Scouts Become Gearheads in Virginia Beach

Girl Scouts in Virginia Beach got a hands-on experience with cars. Geico, Motorworld and the Girl Scouts of the Colonial Post got together for the 2nd annual Car Clinic.

Scouts learned about car care like tire changing, engine education, and driver safety in hopes of getting a new scout badge.

The organization says the idea started to help expand girls’ career choices. The Colonial Post consists of more than 12,000 girls from Williamsburg to Ocracoke.
