Newport News Offers Cooling Facilities

Heat indexes are getting high! High temperature and humidity can create light-headedness, dehydration, and often can lead to worse problems.

The City of Newport News wants citizens and visitors to know that there are plenty of places where you can escape from the heat and cool off while you’re out and about enjoying your summer.

And don’t forget to hydrate and wear sunscreen!
