Nothing says “winter” quite like ice skating. With the arrival of the holiday season came many festive temporary outdoor ice skating rinks. Here are just a few!

Where: The ice skating rink is located just outside MacArthur Center, at the corner of Monticello Avenue and Freemason Street.
When: November 19, 2016 through January 16, 2017
How Much: Regular admission is $7 for skating, $7 for skate rental. All prices include tax.
Military personnel and their family members (must show valid military ID to receive discount) receive $2 off the admission price.
Where: Duke of Gloucester Street between Nassau and Henry Street
When: Liberty’s Ice Pavilion is open from November 18, 2016 through February 20, 2017, including holidays!
How Much: $12 for adults, $10 for kids 3-12, skate rental $4.25
Where: Mid County Park, 3793 Ironbound Rd.
When: Weekends through January 31, December 21 – January 1: noon – 9 p.m. daily
How Much: $9 for adults and $7 for youth for ages 5-17, and the fee includes the skate rental. James City County and Williamsburg residents can skate for $7 for adult and $5 for youth for ages 5-17, including skate rental. Youth ages 4 and younger skate for free
