Please Touch the Art at Suffolk Gallery

How many times have you had to grab your child’s hand (or hold back your own) to keep him or her from touching a work of art at a museum?

The Suffolk Art Gallery is offering you a chance to touch the art! Starting July 25 at the Suffolk Art Gallery at 118 Bosley Avenue, “Please Touch the Art” will showcase the work of Hillsborough artist Sally Barker. Barker is the creator of The Barker Code; a system of color and texture pairings in fabric that enable the blind to enjoy works of art. Visitors will be able to touch the recreations of masterpieces and experience them by feel.
