Grab your Easter baskets and hop on over to the Great Easter Egg Hunt at Forest Lawn Cemetery on Granby Street in Norfolk.
Children will get to search for more than 5,000 candy-filled eggs – including a special golden egg. There are three age categories: 1 to 3 years old, 4 to 7 years old and 8 to 10 years old. Prizes will be awarded in each age group, but everyone gets a goody bag.
Check in begins at 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 28. The hung begins at 2 p.m. You can pre-register www.NorfolkSocietyforCemeteryConservation.org or email Cemeteries@Norfolk.gov for a registration form. A $5 donation per family is suggested. All of the money collected will benefit the Norfolk Society for Cemetery Conservation.
