This Weekend: AirPower over Hampton Roads

PLEASE NOTE: Friday night’s events have been cancelled due to weather

It’s going to be a heart-pounding spectacular with once-in-a-lifetime performances that will take your breath away. This weekend, starting after work on Friday, April 22nd, is AirPower over Hampton Roads at Joint Base Langley-Eustis.

This year, we’re celebrating the 100th anniversary of the purchase of the land for Langley Air Force Base, one of the earliest military bases in America build specifically for air power. Langley is celebrating with an incredible air show.

Here are the details:

U.S. Air Force Capt. John “Taboo” Cummings, 1st Fighter Wing F-22 Raptor pilot, demonstrated a single-ship performance at Langley Air Force Base, Va., May 21, 2014. The demonstration was held as an opportunity to showcase the F-22 in the air and on the ground, as well as a chance for local media outlets to speak with crewmembers, pilots and leadership about the aircraft.
