Va. Beach senior citizens try indoor skydiving

Some local senior citizens aren’t letting their age hold them back from adventure. Monday, they didn’t let fear get in the way of flying high!

Residents from the Atlantic Shores and Westminster Canterbury retirement communities put on flight suits for vertical skydiving.

They had the experience at the iFly Indoor Skydiving Center in Virginia Beach. It uses powerful fans to keep people airborne, giving them the sensation of skydiving.

Participants ranged in age from 63 to 94. They got a little classroom training before they took the plunge.
