Three small businesses in Virginia Beach received grants to help their businesses thrive, thanks to the ViBe Creative District‘s Matching Grant Program with the Virginia Beach Economic Development and the Office of Cultural Affairs.
Sugar Skull Creative, a full-service video production company, received a $4,800 grant.
Porpoise, LLC received a $3,275 grant, which will help them move the Benevolent Design Company to their 20th Street space. The company, owned by Patrick Ryan, creates custom-designed carpentry.
A $5,925 grant was awarded to Wave Riding Vehicles (WRV). They’re a board-building company that oversees a skate park and skate camp for kids.
The funding from the non-profit ViBe Creative District is used for building improvements, equipment, expansion…anything that improves a small business to help it grow and attract more customers.
