Arnold Schwarzenegger Visits Naval Station Norfolk

The actor who played the Terminator, and then was later the Governor of California, Arnold Schwarzenegger was at Naval Station Norfolk on Wednesday. Schwarzenegger got a tour of the USS Bainbridge and met Commander of Navy Region Mid-Atlantic Rear Admiral Jack Scorby.

The actor from Kindergarten Cop was at the base, along with Assistant Secretary of Navy for Enegry, Installations and Environment Dennis McGinn, for production, and filming, of National Geographic’s “Years of Living Dangerously”.

The documentary looks at climate change, and Norfolk was picked because of the sea-level rise’s impact to the Navy.
