Any day at the Mariner’s Museum is a good day. A day where you can eat and drink while checking out never before seen artifacts is something that can only be described as uniquely Hampton Roads.
The Mariners’ Gallery Crawl is happening on Saturday, September 19th. It’s a one-night event where you can explore the Museum, sip on themed beverages and taste themed foods while getting an historical interpretation of how the objects were used, where they were found, and why they’re so awesome.
The USS Monitor Center will get on the action too with an amazing artifact that was recovered from the ship’s iconic gun turret. We’ll give you a hint: it helps form a story about an officer on the ship.
Tickets include a commemorative glass and are $55 in advance and $60 day-of-event and may be purchased at www.marinersmuseum.org/gallerycrawl or by calling(757) 591-5124.
