Jazz Fest gets soulful and sultry in Norfolk

Music lovers came out and enjoyed fun, food and great tunes during Norfolk’s 33rd annual Jazz Festival held at Town Point Park on Friday and Norfolk Scope on Saturday.

Due to the severe thunderstorms that passed through Hampton Roads on Saturday, the festival was relocated from Town Point Park to Norfolk Scope Saturday.

The popular festival featured legendary sounds of top National smooth Jazz and R&B recording artists. The all star lineup included Earl Klaugh, Richard Elliot, Musiq Soulchild, Pamela Williams, Generation Next and many other popular artists.

The Hampton Roads Show co-host Luana Munoz came out to Town Point Park Friday to meet and greet concert-goers and sign autographs for fans. She also got a little stage time by warming up the crowd and introducing artist Richard Elliot.

10 On Your Side anchors Tom Schaad and Anita Blanton came out to the Scope on Saturday to meet and greet with fans and warm up the crowd for performing artists as well.
