Pacing & Plotting a Story with Alan Gratz

If you are seeking knowledge on creative writing or interested in developing dramatic plots, join us for an author visit with New York Times Best Seller, Alan Gratz.

Gratz will discuss his writing style and approach to developing his novels and specifically about plotting and pacing in his stories.

Gratz is the author of many critically-acclaimed books for children and teens, including Samurai Shortstop, an ALA Top Ten Books for Young Adults; Prisoner B-3087; The Brooklyn Nine; Refugee; and the League of Seven trilogy (The League of Seven, The Dragon Lantern, The Monster War). A native of Knoxville, Tennessee, Gratz is now a full-time writer living in western North Carolina with his wife and daughter.
