Make your own creation at art stations provided by the Suffolk Art League and the Suffolk Public Library. Record your story and experiences as part of Suffolk Public Library’s Suffolk Speaks oral history project. Watch a special screening of Ai Weiwei: Never Sorry, a documentary about China’s most famous international artist, and its most outspoken domestic critic. Light refreshments provided. Film will begin at 8:00pm.

This event is free to attend and for ages 18+.

Documentary synopsis: Ai Weiwei: Never Sorry is the inside story of a dissident for the digital age who inspires global audiences and blurs the boundaries of art and politics. First-time director Alison Klayman gained unprecedented access to Ai while working as a journalist in China. Her detailed portrait provides a nuanced exploration of contemporary China and one of its most compelling public figures. More info here: http://www.aiweiweineversorry.com/
