Ongoing/Virginia Stage Company’s: “All My Sons”/Wells Theater
Virginia Stage Company’s second production of the season is the Tony Award-winning All My Sons, a play by Arthur Miller and based upon a true story. The masterwork by one of America’s seminal playwrights is about family dynamics, courage, and the struggle to survive during World War II.

Welcome to a very special tradition, Halloween at the Chrysler. It’s a time where our talented and creative Gallery Hosts dress up as works of art. Since this has become an annual event not to be missed, this year we’re doubling your chance to join the fun. Come enjoy our scavenger hunt, and win a fun prize. You are invited to don your own inspired costume and join in the fun, but be advised there are some restrictions.

Friday-Saturday/Haunting on DoG Street/Colonial Williamsburg
Join us for our first ever family-friendly Halloween Weekend that includes FREE trick-or-treating (on not one, but two nights!). Costumed interpreters will hand out Mars candy on Duke of Gloucester Street in the Historic Area. Just look for the glowing Jack O ’Lanterns to help you plan your route!

6 p.m.-9 p.m./ Phoebus Little League Fall Festival/Phoebus Complex
The first annual fall festival will include a variety of family oriented activities. We will have Inflatables, hay rides, Games, trunk-or-treat, great food, raffles, lots of vendors, music by a DJ, and so much more! Come out for a great time and support your local Phoebus Little League! FREE

6:30 p.m.-9 p.m./An Evening at Endview/Endview Plantation
Guided evening tours are offered on the grounds of Endview Plantation. Learn about individuals associated with the history of the historic site in a unique after sunset program. The ambiance of the property at night will certainly set the mood for Halloween! Tours are offered every twenty minutes beginning at 7:00, with the last tour leaving at 8:40. Admission is $8.00 per adult, $6.00 per child (ages 6 – 12).

8 p.m./National Acrobats and Circus of The Republic of China: ‘Peking Dreams‘/Ferguson Center for the Arts
Founded in 1953, the National Acrobats and Circus is one of the longest running and most distinguished circus troupes in China. They are especially acclaimed in China because of the unique acts in their program such as Grand Flying Trapeze, Group Contortion, Girls’ Balance With Bowls, cycling stunts and many other outstanding acrobatic acts. Great fun for the kids, great fun for the whole family!

5:30 p.m. Friday Night Frights Hermitage Outdoor Film Series: “The Goonies”/Hermitage Museum & Gardens
Gates will open at 5:30 pm each evening and the film will begin at 7 pm. Guests may enjoy YNOT pizza, beer and wine, cornhole, and life-size jenga with the 96x team.
Admission is free for members, $7 for non-members

6 p.m.-9 p.m./ Masquerade in Ghent/Colley Avenue between Shirley and Brandon Avenues
Show off your Halloween costume at the annual Costume Contest Parade. Judges will award cash prizes for “Best In Show,” “Best Family or Group,” and “Best Adult.” Prize packets will be awarded to “Best Pet Costume,” “Best Young Adult” (male & female ages 13-18 years old), “Best Children’s Costume” (male & female 4-12 years old), and “Best Infant Costume”. There will be live music, activities for kids, refreshments and adult beverages. Masquerade in Ghent is free and open to the public. Ample parking can be found along the streets and parking lots. Don’t miss the frightfully, fun-tastic time at this year’s Masquerade in Ghent …and bring a friend because no one likes to scream alone!


8 p.m./Movies in the Park presents: “The Box Trolls”/Riverview Park
Bring the whole family out for movies under the stars. Grab your lawn chairs or blankets to watch family-friendly cinema. Popcorn will be served at this free event hosted by the Isle of Wight County Parks and Recreation Department. FREE
