The Musical Soul Food Network (America’s premiere family friendly syndicated radio network) will launch the first annual Musical Soul Food Festival on June 25, 2016 on the sixty-acre Chesapeake City Park in Chesapeake, VA. Parenting Magazine named Chesapeake in its “Best Cities for Families” list two years in a row so this year’s festival theme is “It’s A Family Affair.” Aside from a full day of great inspirational music by some of today’s top gospel recording artists; there will be a wide-gamut of fun activities ranging from basketball challenges, volleyball, Zumba, line-dancing, fitness aerobics in the We-Fit Zone, food vendors and more.

In Search of the Truth (The Truth Booth) is an installation comprised of a touring, portable, inflatable “Truth Booth.” The exterior is ironically shaped like a giant cartoon speech bubble with the word TRUTH boldly printed on the side. The interior acts much like a photo booth, but serves to compile two-minute video responses from the public. Once seated inside, people are invited to record their opinions and thoughts as they finish the statement: “The truth is…”
