What are the exciting features of this years event?
One of the big things for us is our new location at the 31st Street Park. We used to have the event in a big tent but we aren’t doing it this year because we want everyone to enjoy the great views and weather. We also have a few new breweries that are participating including: Traditions, South Street and Port City. Festival-goers can enjoy their samples among others all while listening to some great live entertainment, which is included in your package price along with unlimited sampling.
When people drink they get hungry, will you have food trucks on site?
We will have three food vendors on-site in the park. There will also be a variety of food for festival-goers to select from including; pizza, subs and more.
I hear there will also be some great music – what kind of bands are coming?
The Brian Grilli Band will be there, Blackwater Jam and a few more. All of the bands are local and new to performing at this festival. I really think Hampton Roads will enjoy their laid back and casual sounds that will add to the overall atmosphere.
- Brackish Water Jamboree: 1:30 – 3:15 p.m.
- Blackwater Jam: 3:45 – 5:30 p.m.
- Brian Grilli Band: 1:30 – 3:15 p.m.
- Woodwork: 3:45 – 5:30 p.m.
There are limited tickets available if you buy at the door – why should people get their tickets early?
You should definitely get your tickets early to guarantee your admission, particularly for Saturday. It is a limited admission event, which is great because it won’t be too crowded, the lines won’t be too long for sampling and it’s just going to be a great event.
Why should people get out and have fun at the Virginia Beach Craft Beer Festival?
It’s all about having the opportunity to sample different types of beers in one setting. It gives people the opportunity to try new stuff they haven’t tried before and It’s a great event socially for people to hang out with their friends and just make a fun day of it.
