The event is a tabletop war gaming convention put on by the Virginia War Museum and the Old Dominion Military Society. There will be miniatures, board games, theme games, vendors, a flea market, and a charity raffle.

Saturday & Sunday | 47th Annual Seawall Art Show | High Street Landing
It is a fine art and craft show featuring 80 juried artists and organized by a group of committed community volunteers.

Friday – Sunday | 55th Annual East Coast Surfing Championships | Virginia Beach Oceanfront
Each year, several hundred surfers from Menehunes to Masters compete for East Coast surfing titles, prizes, history and the sheer love of surfing. Other beach oriented sports and recreation include volleyball, a boardwalk 5K run, street skate and ramp contests, swimsuit contests, food and drink concessions, and live music on the beach. Check out the website for a full schedule of events.

3 p.m. | 4th Annual OBC Battle of the Brewers | O’Connor Brewing Company
Each of the competition beers will be sold as a single flight. The flight will be served with a score sheet and a print out of the guidelines, so guests can judge based on trueness to style as well as which brew they like best.

4:30 p.m. | Live 360° Bhav Brigade Yoga | MacArthur Center
While the class is for all-levels, these Friday Fire-Ups will be constructed with the intention of advancing an already growing practice. You’re welcome to pay whatever you feel the class is worth. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Hope House Foundation. Grab a yoga mat, bring your friends and catch some good vibes with us.
