The 24th Annual American Music Festival will feature five major headline bands. 311, Rebelution, Michael Franti & Spearhead, 3 Doors Down and The Wallflowers will bring a wide spectrum of talent and dozens of hit songs everyone will recognize.

Bobby “Blackhat” Walters brings together the finest blues musicians in Hampton Roads to perform classic, modern and well as original blues tunes. Opening this evening is an exhibit by Artists Suzanne Stryk, whose beautiful work is a lesson in Virginia’s topography and biodiversity.

Enjoy classic, pop and jazz music live from the Virginia Symphony Orchestra. While waiting for the concert to begin, visit the ArtsAlive! tent. ArtsAlive! programs benefit Chesapeake Fine Arts Commission public art programs and also the talented Chesapeake students who participate in the annual “Arts Alive Student Arts Competition.” The Oscar Smith Strolling Strings will entertain visitors under the tent before the symphony takes the stage.
