‘Erin Go Bragh’! Everyone is Irish this weekend with St. Patrick’s Day. The holiday also brings one of the biggest events of the year to Virginia Beach, the Yuengling Shamrock Marathon.

Friday – Sunday | The Yuengling Shamrock Marathon Weekend | Virginia Beach Oceanfront
The three-day event features a Sports and Fitness Expo, races and challenges to accommodate all ages and skill levels ad a huge finish line celebration on the beach. Runners enjoy flat, fast and scenic courses along the beautiful oceanfront and recover at a huge finish line celebration that features live entertainment, ice-cold Yuengling beer and much more.

Entertainment by Faol Liath, Glasgow Kiss, the Cumascaigh School of Irish Dance, and the Newport News Pipe & Drums. Corn hole and other activities for all ages will be available. Kids can enjoy free activities, including face painting.  Prizes will be awarded for individuals and groups wearing the best St. Patrick’s Day theme outfits to the event.
