Explore the Old Wild West at the Chrysler

Were you fascinated by cowboys, Indians and old Western movies growing up? The Chrysler Museum of Art’s latest exhibition, Branding the American West, is bringing the Wild West to Norfolk.

The exhibit looks at art from 1900 – 1950 influenced by stories and landscapes of the old West. Westerns are also integrated into the exhibit looking at how the film genre changed over the years.

According to the exhibit’s Curator, Alex Mann, Western art is not readily available in East Coast museums. Offering patrons a rare glimpse into the genre.
