Warriors Taphouse was created to serve those who serve us. Military is an important facet of its existence, with all three of its founders having a strong connection to the military.

The pub’s main mission is to use some of their revenue to give back to military families and organizations that assist them, according to their website.

On Memorial Day, they presented a $1,000 check to three members of Run to Remember VB who have lost their husbands in combat.

Run to Remember is a charitable race created by four widows of Navy SEALs who were killed in action, along with 26 other service members, on August 6, 2011.

Every year the race is held on Memorial Day at the Pungo Aviation Museum in Virginia Beach to raise money for charities such as Wreaths Across America and the Special Operations Warrior Foundation and to remind people the real reason behind the holiday.
