What’s Happening: Cancer Survivors Fashion Show

In Newport News the ladies of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Incorporated are putting together a unique fashion show, where the focus isn’t on the clothes, but rather the models.

The Alpha Beta Zeta Chapter is hosting a show dedicated to cancer survivors. They’re still accepting participants, whether you’re a survivor or walking on behalf of a loved one that is still in the fight.  They’re also looking for hair stylists and makeup artists to help the models look and feel their best. All of the proceeds will go to the American Cancer Society.

Make your way out to Mary Immaculate Hospital Community Education Health Resource Center this upcoming Saturday, Aug. 25. The Cancer Survivor Fashion Show starts at noon and admission is $10.

WAVY-TV 10 Meteorologist Deitra Tate will be the Mistress of Ceremony.
