Currituck Animal Services successfully transferred 24 kittens to a regional rescue organization in the hope of finding each kitten a permanent home. Volunteers with Cat Rescue Incorporated of Chesapeake picked up the kittens from the animal shelter in Currituck County.
The transfer of the animals to the rescue group, provides an excellent opportunity for them to find a permanent home, and also allows for more space in Currituck County’s animal shelter. Currituck has several cats and dogs which are available and ready to be adopted.
Cat Rescue Incorporated is a non-profit, volunteer organization which utilizes a network of foster homes throughout the Hampton Roads area to provide temporary placement for cats, while its members attempt to find permanent homes for the animals.
