A CHKD ambulance got a little more festive this week thanks to the help of local artist and graphics shop.

Local veteran-owned printing business, The Graphics Shop and local Hampton artist Troy Summerell, known professionally as OnieTonie™ , gave one of CHKD’s ambulances a makeover, wrapping the outside in a bright colorful crab image.

This is the fourth vehicle wrap The Graphics Shop has done for CHKD, and the third work Summerell has done.  This design follows the beach motif set up by previous designs. Other ambulance wraps featured seas turtles and seahorses with the same bold colors.

Summerell also has his work featured inside of CHKD’s Health Center at Landstown. His 150-foot mural, “School of Happy Fish,” was completed in late 2016.
