Chesapeake City Park Eggstravaganza Saturday 10:00 a.m. to noon FREE- Children can join us for fun and egg-citement! Children should bring a basket or bag for the egg hunt. Children may join Peter Cottontail for a picture. Parents, don’t forget your camera! Event is FREE to the public.
Warhill Sports Complex Easter Egg Extravaganza Saturday 9:30 a.m. 11:30 a.m. – There will be more than 10,000 eggs for the hunts, which are divided by age and will be held in the Wanner Stadium and at the Abram Frink Jr. Community Center. Also enjoy face painting, refreshments for purchase and more!
Peninsula Town Center Saturday 10:00 a.m. to noon $6 admission – An egg hunt with over 2,000 candy filled eggs will be available for children (2-8), an Easter themed Virginia Living Museum Mini Museum exhibit, a magician and opportunities to take a picture with the Easter Bunny.
Lee Hall Mansion Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. $5 per child – Children under the age of 12 are invited to participate in the ninth annual Easter Egg Hunt on the grounds of historic Lee Hall Mansion. Games, the Easter Bunny, and great photo opportunities make this a memorable morning for families and friends! Admission is $5.00 per child.
Sandy Bottom Nature Park Eggstravaganza Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. $5 per child – Events include 10 Easter egg hunts for each age group and they will begin every half hour. The first hunt starts at 10 am and the last hunt begins at 2:30 pm. There will also be a children’s craft area, prizes, food sales, raffle, photos with the Easter bunny ($5) and other goodies. No registration is required but tickets run out fast.
Hampton University E-G-G-Stravaganza Saturday noon to 3:00 p.m. FREE – Children ten-years-old and younger and their parents are invited to come out and celebrate a day of Easter fun. Hampton University and the Pomoco Auto Group will host the 10th Annual Easter by-the-Bay E-G-G-stravaganza on Sat., April 4, from noon to 3 p.m. at 30 Strawberry Banks Boulevard in Hampton, Va. This event is free and open to the public.
Gosnolds Hope Park Egg Hunt Saturday 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. – Bring your Easter Egg baskets and picnic blanket! Children 1 years old to 5th grade age can sign up the Easter egg hunt. For $1 you can get a drink and a hot dog. All ages can participate in craft, live music, baked goods, relay races, and more! Nauticus Egg Hunt Saturday 8:30 a.m. $15 per family – This event will take place rain or shine on the third floor of Nauticus from 8:30a.m. to 9:30a.m. This event is open to the public for $15 per family (up to 6 people), and Nauticus members get in free! “Peter Cottontail” will be attending the event along with a few Spring guests including bunnies, a goat, chicks and ducklings. We will be giving tickets out once an item is purchased and that will be the ticket that can be used to get into the Easter egg hunt. There will also be groups that will be let into the play ground that way we don’t have a ton of kids in there at one time.
