5:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m./Town Fair at Town Center
The Town Fair at Town Center features local handmade art, jewelry, goods and fair trade merchandise.  On the third Friday of each month, April through September, residents and visitors alike, can stroll around the Fountain Plaza of Town Center as we showcase more than 30 merchants’ handmade and fair trade goods. Come out to meet with the artisans and merchants from in and around the Town Center of Virginia Beach.

6:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m./Juneteenth Celebration/Virginia Beach History Museum
The Virginia Beach History Museums invite the public to join in a Juneteenth Celebration on the grounds of the Francis Land House, June 19 from 6 – 9 p.m. There will be a barbeque dinner, traditional songs by the Tidewater Chapter of the Gospel Music Workshop of America, games and fellowship. This is all included in the $9 per person admission fee as well as a brief tour of the Francis Land House.

Williamsburg

6:00 p.m.-10:00 p.m./Rev3 Glo Run 5K & 1-Mile Fun Run/Sullivan Square in New Town
Stars aren’t the only things that shine at night—REV3 Glow runners do too! The Caribbean Food & Music Festival is a not for profit music festival organized and run by local Expatriates of the Caribbean, and brought to you through the support of our many wonderful sponsors and volunteers.We created The Caribbean Food & Music Festival for community-building, and to bring people together to learn about Caribbean music, food and culture. Join other revelers on the 1000 ft. water slide spanning the Booker T. Washington bridge on Settler’s Landing Road. Mill Point Park will have a children’s activity area and food vendors. When you’re finished sliding stay for Block Party from 6-11 p.m.

11:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m./Juneteenth Jubilee/Newport News Farmer’s Market
There will be historic re-enactments, music, merchandise and food vendors, children’s crafts and activities and community resource information, during this community celebration at the Newport News Farmers Market. Hourly tours of the Newsome House Museum and Cultural Arts Center will be offered. Free and open to the public.

6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m./Bronze Door Society Wine Classic/The Mariner’s Museum
