Thomas Nelson Community College welcomes all students, alumni and members of the community to “Find Your Career Path,” at the annual Spring Job Fair on Thursday, April 16, from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. and the Workforce Development Center (PWDC) at 600 Butler Farm Road in Hampton.
Representatives from the region’s top manufacturing, hospitality, health care, STEM, finance and other leading industries are available to meet prospective employees face-to-face.
More than 25 employers including Kingsmill Resort, Newport News Shipbuilding, M Price Distribution Co., LEONI Fiber Optics and many more. Many employers will be accepting resumes for part-time, full-time and internship positions.
Career Services will offer free career seminars every hour, beginning at 9 a.m., providing job-seekers with more information on landing the right job.

10 a.m. Tips for Transitioning Military & Spouses
11 a.m. Searching Jobs with Social Media
12 p.m. The Value of Staffing Agencies
1 p.m. Starting a Small Business
Job seekers may also take advantage of additional resources at the PWDC, including the One Stop Career Resource Center for free seminars and workshops as well as the Virginia Employment Commission for additional assistance in their search for jobs.
Job fair attendees are encouraged to dress professionally and bring copies of their resumes as some employers will conduct on-site interviews.
