This weekend, Norfolk’s newest hotel and social spot celebrated their ribbon cutting and grand opening. The Main held a weekend of festivities that were open to the public.
Norfolk Mayor Kenny Alexander, Virginia Governor Terry McAuliffe and many other city and state officials were present Friday to cut the ribbon. The ceremony was followed by the largest happy hour in the city where the evening progressed with live entertainment throughout the hotel.
The weekend came to a close on Sunday afternoon with The Main hosting over 600 kids and their families who benefit from local charity organizations to see a free Cirque performance as well as tour the property.
