There’s nothing like waking up to a freshly brewed cup of coffee or grabbing an afternoon cup of pick-me-up. September 29 is National Coffee Day. There are plenty of ways to take advantage of this holiday.
Barnes & Noble: All Barnes & Noble Cafes will offer a free cup of tall hot or iced coffee all day Saturday.
Caribou Coffee: With any food purchase Saturday, get a free cup of coffee at participating locations.
Cure Coffeehouse (both locations): Free public cuppings to learn about flavor notes, roasting difference, and more (10 a.m. in Norfolk, 3 p.m. in Smithfield). There will also be freebies at both locations.
Duck Donuts: Get a free small coffee with any purchase Saturday.
Dunkin’ Donuts has a BOGO offer available for National Coffee Day. Anyone who buys a hot coffee at participating locations will get a hot coffee free.
Krispy Kreme: Get a free coffee, any size, at participating locations Saturday. Krispy Kreme Rewards members also get a free doughnut. Also through Sunday, the chain has a special Original Glazed Coffee and Coffee Glazed Doughnuts.
Waffle House: Through Oct. 13, get a free regular or large coffee with a printable coupon found at www.wafflehouse.com/nationalcoffeeday. The coupon states it can be “redeemed only once by the original recipient” at participating locations.
Wawa: Members of Wawa Rewards can get a free cup of coffee Saturday with a special one-day offer loaded to their accounts. Also, for a limited time, get any size coffee for $1, except at Florida locations.
