The art district in the 757 is exploding and in Norfolk, the NEON district is a unique spot full of art, culture, and entertainment.
NEON (New Energy of Norfolk) opened in 2013 and encompasses murals, sculptures and local restaurants.
This Friday, July 20, explore what the district has to offer through their NEON Nights event. Local history buff Joshua Weinstein guides the tour, highlighting NEON’s public art with local businesses.
The tour begins at 7 p.m. at the corner of Granby and Olney Road and should only last an hour.
The NEON District offers special events year round, however, their main event is the NEON Festival which takes place in October.
