ODU Islamic Center Mosque Invites Non-Muslims to a Holiday Celebration

In the spirit of unity during this holiday season, the Islamic Center Mosque is inviting non-Muslims to a meet-and-greet celebration on Friday.

The center invites people to enjoy the hope, warmth, the spirit of openness and peace of the holiday season. In addition, for those who are interested in observing and learning more about the Muslim culture in America, prayer services begin at 1 p.m.

All are welcome to come inside and pray, hear their style of a sermon, or merely observe and learn more about Islamic culture. Also, they will be collecting warm winter coats and blankets for Syrian refugees who are still in the country suffering the terrible effects of the freezing cold there.

Refreshments will be available outside of the center beginning at Noon.
