Enjoy a fun-filled day for you, and your four-legged friend!

The Gloucester-Mathews Humane Society (GMHS) is hosting its fourth annual “Family Fun Day” on June 2 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m!

Head to 6620 Jackson Lane in Gloucester to enjoy demonstrations by K-9 Officer Rexi and the County Sheriff Department, as well as agility, obedience and rally demonstrations by the Gloucester Kennel Club. You can also get your face painted by Bubbles the Clown, do a little shopping, listen to music and play games throughout the day.

GMHS is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to the lives of all animals that end up on their doorstep.

Providing care, shelter, compassion, and education for homeless pets is only half the job. This organization has played a part in the lives of over 10,000 Gloucester residents since 1912 through adoptions, educational programs, a pet pantry and free spay/neuter programs, according to their website.

Come out and give this group a round of a “paws” for their outstanding work in your community!
