Slightly Stoopid Concert Moved to Portsmouth Pavilion’s Plaza

The show must go on, as they say.

Slightly Stoopid’s concert, which is slated for this Friday in Portsmouth, will still happen — but with a minor adjustment at the venue.

The show is now being held at the pavilion’s waterfront plaza. Organizers say the change is being made because of ongoing work at the pavilion.

Crews are working to repair a structrual flaw that was found in the main support mast that holds the canopy. To accommodate the work, city officials decided to remove the canopy.

Slighty Stoopid’s concert is the latest on Portsmouth’s summer slate that’s either been moved or adjusted in someway.

Slightly Stoopid is performing July 13 in Portsmouth as a part of its “Schools Out For Summer” tour with guests Stick Figure and Pepper. Organizers say all tickets previously purchased for the show will be honored on Friday.

The doors for Friday’s show will open at 5 p.m., with the show slated to start at 6:30 p.m.
