Slover Library’s Maker Studio Opening in Selden Market

The Slover Library debuted their brand new Maker Studio in Selden Market with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday.

Patrons will be able to utilize the new space’s equipment for things like laser cutting, 3D printing, sewing and more.

There will be four, high-end modeling workstations for SolidWorks and CorelDraw, as well self-service equipment to use.

In order to use the new Maker Studio, patrons will have to call the studio at (757) 431-7443 or email them to schedule a visit. They will also have to go through an orientation process, which varies based on the equipment they wish to use.
