The weekend is around the corner and if you’re still looking for something to do, might I suggest spending it outside in the beautiful weather and listening to some great local music.
The Colley Avenue Music and Arts Festival will be taking over the corner of 41st Street and Colley Ave. Saturday from 11:00 AM – 10:30 PM. An eclectic mix of some of the great musical talent of the 757 will perform on an outdoor stage at the grassy lot on that corner and an indoor stage at Pancho N Luigi’s directly across the street. This is a family friendly, all-ages event that benefits ForKids and the YWCA and the best part is that it is FREE!
DJ Williams Projekt will be headlining along with Galaxy Dynamite, The Dahus, Sharkophagus, Nature’s Child, JANKS, Last Fair Deal, The Charltones, Dyska, The Lena Klett Band, The Brothers Grizz, Esbern Snare, Bended Light, Dear Adamus and Dalton Dash. A great blend of all genres of music that can’t be missed.
Again, this is a free event that benefits two great local charities and a great chance to catch some of the best local, original music in this area.
