You’ve heard the buzz about the new Star Wars movie hitting theaters this week.
Colonial Williamsburg jumped right in with the spirit, displaying these amazing Star Wars-inspired holiday wreaths with a distinct colonial feel. Although they were made to reflect a galaxy far, far away, these wreaths were made to be displayed in the “colonial world” and were crafted using goods available in the 18th century world.
Colonial Williamsburg tinsmiths, leather workers, and candlemakers all helped one crafty mom put together these wreaths.
Katherine Morris Ainslie shared photos of the wreaths on her guest blog entry for Colonial Williamsburg’s blog Making History Now. Read the blog entry here!
