United Way Peninsula Introduces New President and CEO

The United Way’s Peninsula chapter has introduced Steven S. Kast as the new president and CEO. Kast recently spent 32 years working for the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Peninsula serving in the same roles during most his tenure.

Kast was the driving force behind the Boys and Girls Clubs footprint and reputation in the Peninsula. He has received numerous honors, both locally and nationals, for his efforts.

A graduate of CNU, Kast currently serves on the school’s Board of Visitors, the Education Foundation and the Alumni Board.

Kast also currently is chairman of the school board for Poquoson City Schools.
