This Weekend: #PokemonGoNFK Photo Challenge

The City of Norfolk Department of Recreation, Parks and Open Space (RPOS) wants you to “get out and play!” Play “Pokemon Go,” that is!

Fill out that Pokedex and participate in the #PokemonGoNFK Photo Challenge.

Starting TODAY (Friday, July 15) and running through Sunday, Norfolk RPOS will be dropping lures in city parks and beaches. Find out where by following Norfolk RPOS’s Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. Then submit screen shots of your catch with the hash tag #PokemonGoNFK on instagram or Facebook.

The most creative screenshot of each day will win one of the survival packs. Survival packs include a slingback, water bottle, snacks, and portable phone charger! If you’ve been playing “Pokemon Go” regularly, you know it’s worth it for the phone charger alone!

Here’s your first lure: Lafayette Park (3500 Granby Street) in Norfolk. Go catch ’em all!
