‘Wright’ Over the Virginia Border, You’ll Find Some Historical Deals!

Lets get ‘Wright’ to it! A museum just over the Virginia border, dedicated to the world famous Wright Brothers, is waiving its ticket fees for six days in 2019!

The dates for free admission to the Wright Brothers National Memorial are as follows…

Monday, January 21 – Martin Luther King, Jr. Day
Saturday, April 20 – Start of National Park Week/National Junior Ranger Day
Sunday, August 25 – National Park Service Anniversary
Saturday, September 28 – National Public Lands Day
Monday, November 11 – Veterans Day
Tuesday, December 17 – 116th Anniversary of the Wright brothers’ first flight

“Entrance fees will be waived on six fee free days, staff will continue working with our valuable partners to hold inspiring events, and the park’s National Historic Landmark visitor center has reopened,” says National Parks of Eastern North Carolina Superintendent David Hallac.
