The French Tall Ship Hermione is on her maiden Atlantic crossing and stopping in Yorktown. This three-day event will include a variety of programs and events for the education and inspiration of the public: receptions and dinners, free public deck tours and ship events, a heritage village, traveling exhibit, Jamestown Settlement’s Godspeed, interpretive programs, Virginia’s Finest fair, entertainment, educational programs, and more. Sunset/Big Screen Saturdays: The Princess Bride/Virginia Aquarium
A fairy tale adventure about a beautiful young woman and her one true love. He must find her after a long separation and save her. They must battle the evils of the mythical kingdom of Florin to be reunited with each other.
Big Screen Saturday movies are free for Virginia Aquarium members in the month of June and cost $5 for non-members. Beginning in July, Big Screen Saturday tickets will be $3 for members

Chorus will perform its annual spring concert featuring sacred and classical choral music, patriotic anthems, spirituals and Broadway favorites. We will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Academy Award winning film “The Sound of Music” by performing a medley of songs featured in the movie.
