Thursday May 14-Sunday May 17 Chesapeake Jubilee Chesapeake City Park
The 2015 Chesapeake Jubilee kicks off Thursday, May 14th at Chesapeake City Park. The Jubilee will again host the Chesapeake Kiwanis Club Shrimp Feast and the BBQ Cook-off Competition, sanctioned by the world famous Kansas City Barbeque Society. As always, don’t miss our Annual Fireworks Extravaganza produced by the world famous Zambelli Fireworks! In addition to great Music and Food, Amusements of America will be on site with thrilling rides and game. Bring the kids out for what is sure to be a memorable occasion.

Saturday May 16-Sunday May 17 Chesapeake Bay Reggae Fest Mill Point Park
The 5th Annual Chesapeake Bay Reggae Fest also known as the Buckroe Beach Reggae Fest will be held on the beautiful shores of the Chesapeake Bay. The festival has a whole array of craft and food vendors to send you on a trip to the islands. $5 a day

Norfolk

Thursday May 14-Sunday May 17 Norfolk Greek Festival Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral
The Greek Festival is an annual event held under one of Hampton Roads’ biggest tents on the grounds of the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Norfolk, VA. The 2015 Greek Festival begins Thursday, May 14 and will run through Sunday, May 17. Bring your family and friends and have a ‘Greek-Time’!

Friday May 15-Sunday May 17 Beach Music Cruise-In Oceanfront at 30th St.
Beach Music Cruise-In, combining bands on the beach and cars on the boardwalk, blends the best of the “oldies” with dancing under the stars in a jam-packed blast to the past!  Settle into the sand as the top Beach Music bands from up and down the East Coast descend on the Virginia Beach oceanfront in a nostalgic salute to the “good old days” of cool cars and hot tunes.  Stroll the boardwalk to view classic cars, hot rods, antiques, and more.

See your favorite celebrities, comic book artists and creators, and some incredible cosplay. Tickets start at $20, kids 12 and under are free!

1 p.m. Score’s Five Star Celebation Peninsula Town Center
From 1pm – 6pm, Score is offering free bowling for active duty military and veterans. (*reservations required) The Score cocktail party, open to the public, begins at 8pm to celebrate the Score community and its loyal customers. Five prizes, with a grand prize $500 gift card, will be raffled off during the nighttime event, with all proceeds benefiting Operation Homefront. $5 Drink and food specials will run throughout the night, including special drinks and appetizers only available during the event.

7:30 p.m. Family Movies on the Lawn: The Incredibles nTelos Wireless Pavilion
Looking for great outdoor activities this spring? Join us under the stars on the Pavilion Lawn at 7:30pm Saturday evenings in May for “FAMILY MOVIES ON THE LAWN”. The nTelos Wireless Pavilion is the perfect backdrop for these FREE events. Although the movies begin at dusk, attendees are encouraged to arrive early to find a good viewing spot on the lawn. Blankets and sand chairs are recommended. Concessions will be open with food and beverage options as well.

The Dirty Girl Mud Run is a 3.1 mile(ish) obstacle course run for women, and women ONLY! If you’re an uber cross fitter looking to make your weekend more challenging, Dirty Girl Mud Run has a place for you. If this is your first time running an organized obstacle run or 5k, YOU WILL GET TO THE FINISH LINE!
