Calling all of the art lovers and influencers in the 757…this is your opportunity to help celebrate one of the most eccentric areas of Norfolk!
The NEON Festival is where patrons can see the transformation of Norfolk’s art district, up close and personal. See the public art, musicians, comedians and performance artists bring the streets of the district to life.
There’s plenty of culinary art to enjoy as well, including signature fare from staples restaurants in the district like Commune, Zeke’s Beans and Bowls and Sanctuary, as well as from numerous food trucks. Don’t forget to head over to the Plot’s Beer Garden or Bearded Bird Brewing for a cold one.
The festival takes place this Thursday and Friday (Oct. 18 and Oct. 19) from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. The district stretches from W. Brambleton Avenue to Llewellyn Avenue, with the heart of it location at the intersection of Granby Street and Olney Road. Admission is free and open to the public.
