Calling All LEGO Architects

Norfolk Public Library’s LEGO contest is back and they want to showcase your best LEGO design. This year’s theme is  “Norfolk Navy Proud” in honor of the Naval Station Norfolk’s centennial.

Finalists from each of the six participating library branches will be posted on the Norfolk Public Library’s Facebook page from Nov. 8 to Nov. 16 for the public to vote on a winner. The champion will be named the Norfolk Public Library’s “Master Builder” on Nov. 17 and receive a LEGO trophy and build kit.

The contest is open to children ages six and up. Registration is required at individual branches and supplies for the program will be provided on site by the Hampton Roads Naval Museum. The LEGO contest is one of many events the Norfolk Public Library is hosting as part of their International Games Week Oct. 29 – Nov. 4.
