Carnival Plans Cruises to Cuba From Norfolk in 2020


Cross Havana, Cuba off your bucket list with a cruise out of Norfolk!

Carnival Cruise Lines has announced it will launch two ships from Nauticus in 2020, including a visit to the Caribbean nation’s capital.

The Carnival Sunrise and Carnival Radiance, both newly-remodeled, will be deployed for spring and fall Bahamas cruises.

Carnival Radiance will offer a six-night Bahamas sailing trip, a five-night Bahamas trip and two, week-long trips in October 2020 that will include Havana on the itinerary. Check out this ship’s $200 million refurbishment firsthand, which features the first at-sea version of Shaquille O’Neal’s Vegas-based restaurant, Big Chicken.

Two, five-night Bahamas cruises and a six-night Bahamas cruise will be offered on the Carnival Sunrise. Formerly named Carnival Triumph, according to Carnival’s website, this ship will also sail from Norfolk next year.

Carnival Sunrise’s 2019 cruises will be the first to depart and return from the city of Norfolk after the cruise line took a hiatus in 2018.
